St. Clair County Clerk Tom Holbrook announces implementation of a new Vote by Mail ballot tracking system for voters.

The new Vote by Mail service will give voters the ability to track their mailed ballots. There will be a significant savings for taxpayers with reduced postage rates.

St. Clair County Clerk Tom Holbrook and election staff will be updating their Vote-By-Mail tracking and vote by mail envelopes to add security and reduce costs for St. Clair County.

This new service with, greater St. Louis-based, KNOWiNK will process the printing and mailing of Vote by Mail ballots for all future St. Clair County elections, beginning with the April 1, 2025 Election. This process provides voters with a propriety tracking system to allow monitoring of their ballot as it moves through the USPS system and provides us with continual reporting and auditing information. Furthermore, this saves tens of thousands in printing and mailing costs as we update our Vote-By-Mail envelopes
